It’s the most wonderful time of the year again. Christmas. You are finally done with all the presents and the constant holiday shopping rush. You and your loved ones will get together for a wonderful dinner or lunch. But this year, you want to do something special and decorate your dining room.
Use the following 6 ideas for the inspiration you need for a more beautiful Christmas!
- Roses
Forget the poinsettias, choose yellow roses. If the walls of your room are in a lovely yellow color, you can use bouquets of yellow roses. Add some yellow napkins. This will give you a wonderful accent on the table, just don't make the bouquets too big. You do want your guests to see you. - Gold
If you have enough space, you can decorate the tree near the table. Let all your decorations be in gold shades, even the garlands. And below you can hide red-wrapped gifts with gold ribbons. Also, you can put beautiful large gold ribbons on the backs of your chairs. As well as small golden ribbons on the napkin holders. - Wreath
You can make a beautiful natural wreath of twigs. Decorate it yourself, be creative. You can use anything, like pinecones, dried leaves, and berries, even some of the tree decoration, to match. In the middle, put a large red candle. In addition to making your table beautiful, the decoration will also have a wonderful aroma if you choose a scented candle. - Fireplace
If you have a fireplace in the dining room, you can use it as a big highlight for your dinner. Put Christmas garlands over it and decorate. Or shiny Christmas toys lowered at different heights. If you have more of them, you can arrange in the middle of the table a sparkling ball ornament wreath and place a candle in the middle. - Gifts
Is your Christmas tree near the festive table? Great then use it to accent the table. Put small candles in the shape of a Christmas tree on the table, and if you can't find there are great pinecone shaped options. You can even use pine cone scented candles. Red tablecloths and dark green napkins can complement your table for the Christmas party. You can put one red Christmas sock on the back of each chair, with a small gift inside, for a little surprise for your guests. - Pinecones
Use pinecones. Many, many pinecones. You can tie three pinecones with a shiny ribbon and hang them on the backs of the chairs. For the napkin holders, pick smaller pinecones and attach one to the ring with a ribbon. And on a green tablecloth, in the middle along the whole length of the table, spread a path of cones as if you were in the woods. If you have a suitable place close to the table you can fill a bowl with pinecones. And if you feel the playful Christmas spirit in you and you want a glittering effect on your table, you can paint the cones with a glittering gold spray or even your holiday nail polish.
